COCONUT THUMBPRINT 
1 c. (2 sticks) butter, softened
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. almond extract (opt.)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. unsifted flour
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut
1/2 c. chopped pecans (opt.)
Any color jelly

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in extracts. Add flour and mix until thoroughly blended. Stir in coconut and pecans. Cover and chill at least 2 hours. Shape dough into 1" balls (dough will be hard). Bake on ungreased cookie sheet. Makes 3 dozen.
