FARMERS POUND CAKE | |
3 c. sugar 2 sticks real butter 1/3 c. Crisco, solid 5 eggs 3 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. lemon flavoring 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. milk Cream butter and Crisco together. Add sugar 1 cup at a time. Add eggs, one at a time. Add salt and flavoring. Add flour 1 cup at a time, alternating with milk. Begin and end with flour. Bake at 325 degrees in Bundt pan for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Be sure to watch it at the end. Cool 10 minutes and dump out. |
