CHOCOLATE MINT DESSERT 
1 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. chocolate syrup

Beat together all ingredients until smooth. Pour into greased 9x13x2 inch pan. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 degrees. Top will spring back with touched. Cool completely in pan. Spread Mint layer on cake, then chill.

MINT LAYER:

2 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tbsp. water
1/2 to 3/4 tsp. mint extract
3 drops green food coloring

Combine and beat until smooth.

CHOCOLATE TOPPING:

6 tbsp. butter
1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Melt in small saucepan over very low heat. Remove from heat and stir until smooth. Cool slightly, then spread over mint layer. Chill and serve.
