CHOCOLATE MINT SQUARES 
CAKE LAYER:

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup

MINT LAYER:

2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. creme de menthe
1/2 c. butter

GLAZE:

6 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

Mix cake layer. Pour into 9 x 13 inch greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool in pan. Mix mint layer. Spread over cooled cake. Mix and melt glaze. Cool and pour over mint layer. Chill 5-10 minutes. (May be frozen.)
