GOURMET CORNED BEEF 
4 to 5 lbs. Round or Brisket
2 1/2 qts. water
2 c. white wine
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. dill
2 stalks celery
2 bay leaves
1 sliced orange
1 stick cinnamon
3 whole cloves
2 or 3 drops Tabasco

Place all ingredients in large kettle. Cover and simmer until tender, about 3 hours. Carrots, potatoes and cabbage can be added.
