BUTTERSCOTCH BARS 
1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. brown sugar (packed)
2 eggs
1 c. flour (plain)
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 c. nuts
2 tbsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, 1 at the time, blend well. On low speed, add flour and baking powder. Add chopped nuts and vanilla. Pour into buttered baking dish (8 x 8 x 2). Bake at 300 degrees for approximately (double recipe for pan size 9 x 12 x 2).
