GRANDMA'S FRUIT SALAD 
20 oz. can Dole chunk pineapple, heavy syrup
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. flour
Dash salt
3 eggs, slightly beaten
Fresh fruit, bananas, cantaloupe, honey dew, peaches, seedless grapes
Whipped cream or Cool Whip

ONE DAY AHEAD:

Cook all ingredients with pineapple (and syrup) in double boiler until it thickens, stirring constantly. Cool overnight in refrigerator. When ready to serve, add Cool Whip or whipped cream and fruit; mix well. Keep chilled until ready to serve. Serves 6 - 8.
