SUGAR COATED NUTS 
3 c. pecan halves
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt

Toast pecan halves for 15 minutes in 375 degree oven, stirring often.

Combine last 4 ingredients in a saucepan. Cook to soft ball stage; add 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Remove from heat. Stir in nuts. Spread on buttered cookie sheet. Separate each nut. Allow to cool, then store in an air tight container.
