HAMBURGER STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup
3/4 soup can water
3 tbsp. sour cream
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown ground beef and onions in skillet and add salt and pepper to taste; pour off excess fat. After browning meat and onions add 1 can cream of mushroom soup (or cream celery, chicken) and fill empty can 3/4 full then stir meat and soup and water; let mixture come to low boil, add 3 tablespoons sour cream. Let cook over low boil (simmer) for 10 minutes. Serve over noodles, English muffins, macaroni, toasted bread or mashed potatoes.
