DILL PICKLES 
1 gal. cucumbers
1 qt. vinegar
2 qt. water
1 c. salt
2 garlic buds
1 hot pepper
Dill

Wash cucumbers. Make a brine of vinegar, water and salt. Bring to a boil. Pack cucumbers in a quart jar. Add 1/4 hot pepper, 1 garlic bud and 1 piece of dill to each jar. Cover with brine. Seal and put in hot water bath. Let simmer 10 minutes.
