GRANDMA'S GINGERBREAD | |
1/2 c. Crisco oil 1/2 c. sugar 1 c. Grandma's Molasses 2 eggs 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1 tsp. ginger 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 1 c. hot water Cream shortening with sugar. Add molasses and eggs. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with water. Bake in greased 9 inch square pan about 50 minutes at 350. |
