VEGETABLE MARINADE 
Fresh broccoli, cut into bite-size pieces
4 oz. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 med. red pepper, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped
1 sm. cauliflower, cut into bite-size pieces

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
1/2 c. vinegar
2 tsp. dry mustard
1 sm. onion, grated
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. poppy seed

Mix together last 7 ingredients and pour over vegetables. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight.
