HOT & SPICY PECANS | |
3 tbsp. butter 2 tsp. salt 1 lb. pecans 3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp. cinnamon Dash of Tabasco Preheat oven to 275 degrees. Melt butter in heavy baking dish. Stir in salt. Add pecans. Toss well until thoroughly coated. Add Worcestershire sauce, cayenne pepper, cinnamon and Tabasco. Toss again. Roast in oven 45 minutes, stirring frequently until nuts are slightly burned and crisp. Turn off oven and leave in closed oven for another half hour. Makes 4 cups. |
