BRAN MUFFINS 
1 c. Grape Nuts
1 c. boiling water
1/2 c. (1 stick) butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. Bran Flakes
3 c. all-purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. salt
2 c. buttermilk

Mix and cool Grape Nuts and boiling water. Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, Bran Flakes and Grape Nuts. Add dry ingredients and buttermilk alternately. Line muffin tins; fill 2/3 full. Bake at 400°F for 20 minutes.
