3 eggs
3 c. water
1/3 c. vinegar
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 stick butter

Mix all above ingredients except butter. Cut up the stick of butter in bottom of baking dish then mix 1 cup sugar, 1 cup flour and 3/4 cup milk. Pour over the butter then liquid mixture over flour and sugar mixture. Bake at 350 degrees until crust rises to top and browns.
