SWEET POTATO BALLS 
2 1/2 c. mashed sweet potatoes
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
Dash of pepper
3 tbsp. butter
1/3 c. honey
1 c. chopped pecans

Combine mashed sweet potatoes, salt, nutmeg, pepper, and 2 tablespoons melted butter; chill for easier handling. Shape into 8 balls. Heat honey and 1 tablespoons butter in small skillet.

When syrup is hot, remove from heat; add potato balls, one at a time. Spoon glaze over, coating completely. Roll in chopped nuts. Place ball so they do not touch each other in greased shallow baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
