GEORGIA CHEESE PENNIES 
1/2 lb. butter
1 lb. (4 c.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
2 tsp. sugar
4-5 c. flour

Sift dry ingredients together. Cream butter and cheese together. Gradually add dry ingredients until it holds together to form a ball. Form into logs about 1 1/2 inch around. Wrap in waxed paper and chill.

Slice 1/4 inch thick and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 300 degrees 15-18 minutes, until barely browned.

Note: Uncooked rolls can be frozen. Thaw before baking.
