5 1/2 c. sifted cake flour
2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1 lb. butter
1 tbsp. Crisco
6 eggs
2 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. nuts, chopped

Sift together cake flour, sugar and baking powder into large bowl. Add butter and Crisco. Work like pie dough. In another bowl, beat 6 eggs with vanilla. Add to other mixture. Add nuts.
