DELICIOUS PLUM CAKE 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
3 eggs
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. plum juice
1 c. chopped purple plums
2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped pecans

Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs; mix well. Combine flour and soda; add to butter mixture alternately with plum juice and plums. Add spices and salt; fold in pecans. Pour into two 9 inch pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 to 35 minutes. Let cake cool.

ICING:

1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
2 eggs
1/2 c. plum juice
1 c. chopped plums
Pinch of salt
2 tbsp. butter

Combine sugar and flour in saucepan. Add eggs and plum juice; mix well. Add plums and salt; bring to slow boil. Cook until mixture is of spreading consistency. Remove from heat. Add butter; beat until cool enough to spread. Frost cooled cake.
