CRANBERRY TEA BREAD | |
3/4 c. butter 1 1/2 c. brown sugar 4 eggs 3 c. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. baking soda 2 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. clove (optional) 16 oz. can whole cranberry sauce 2/3 c. chopped nuts 2/3 c. golden raisins (or regular raisins) In large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add dry ingredients, and mix well. Stir in cranberry sauce, nuts, raisins. Spoon into 2 greased loaf pans (8 x 4 inch). Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Cool for 10 minute then turn out on wire racks to cool. Makes 2 loaves. |
