FRUIT SALAD PIE 
1 lb. can sour cherries
1 lb. can crushed pineapple
6 tbsp. cornstarch
1 oz. red food coloring
2 c. sugar
Dash of salt
6 bananas, sliced
1 c. nuts, chopped
Pie shells, cooked
Whipping cream

Drain juice from cherries and pineapple. Add sugar, cornstarch, food coloring to juices; mix well. Add pineapple and cherries. Cook until mixture is very thick, stirring constantly. Cool; add sliced bananas and nuts.

Pour into 3 small or 2 large baked pie shells. Cool. Serve with whipping cream or Cool Whip. Spread on top of pies.
