RICE WITH HERBS 
1 med. onion, chopped
1 c. rice
3 tbsp. butter
3/4 tsp. basil
3/4 tsp. marjoram
1/4 tsp. thyme
1/4 tsp. curry
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. chicken broth

Saute onion and rice in butter 5 minutes. Add remaining ingredients; heat to boiling. Cover and cook slowly 30 minutes.

Variation: Add to medium size fryer cut up and bake in 325 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. (May add cut up carrots and celery.)
