3 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. cream
2 tbsp. white syrup
3/4 stick butter
1 tbsp. vanilla
Nuts (optional)

Bring to soft boil, first 3 ingredients; beat in butter and vanilla. Pour into butter plate, let cool, then cut.
