Put 1/3 gal. vinegar in jug. 1/2 c. salt 1 tsp. alum 1 tsp. saccharin Fill jug with water. Pour into pan and bring to boiling point. Put pickles in jar and pour boiling juice over them. Seal. Cold pack 5 minutes. | |
