MARINATED VEGETABLE SOUP 
2 reg. size cans French green beans
1 reg. size can LeSueur green peas
1 small jar chopped pimento
2 med. onions, chopped
1 green pepper, chopped
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 c. Italian dressing

Mix sugar, salt and vinegar until sugar and salt melts. Add Italian dressing. Add other ingredients which have been well drained. Marinate several hours or overnight. Keeps well. Can be served as is or over lettuce in individual servings.
