COMPANY BREAKFAST CASSEROLE 
7 slices wheat bread
2 (4 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
6 eggs
3 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/2 to 3/4 lb. bacon or sausage
chopped onions (optional)
green pepper (optional)

Trim crusts from bread. Crumble and mix with cheese. Spread in bottom of 7 1/2 x 12-inch flat baking dish. Fry and drain bacon or sausage. Cut in small pieces. Sprinkle over bread and cheese. Beat eggs, milk, seasonings and mustard. Pour over all. Refrigerate overnight.

Bake at 350°F for 50 to 55 minutes, or until firm in center.

Serves 6 to 8.
