STUFFED SQUASH CASSEROLE 
1 med. buttercup squash, cooked
1/4 c. butter
Salt to taste
6 slices bacon, fried & crumbled
3 slices bread cubes
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese (save 1/2 c. for topping)

Scoop out cooked squash, while still warm. Add butter, salt, bacon, bread and 1 cup cheese. Mix together. Put in 1 1/2 to 2 quart buttered casserole. Top with rest of cheese. Bake, covered for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
