Make rich biscuit, by adding a bit more shortening and sugar. Can add one egg. Knead and divide in half. Shape each to fit a cake pan. Put one round in greased pan and spread with strawberry jam. Top with second round. Cut into pie shaped pieces and bake at 425 degrees until golden brown. Serve with rich cream if desired.
