COUNTRY CLUB EGGS 
5 slices bread
1 lb. sausage or ham
1/2 lb. grated Cheddar cheese (sharp)
5 eggs
2 c. milk
1/2 c. chopped mushrooms (optional)
1/4 tsp. sage
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dried mustard

Cube bread and spread over bottom of buttered 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Brown sausage; drain and put over bread. Sprinkle cheese over meat. Beat eggs. Add milk and seasonings. Pour over meat and bread. Add mushrooms. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour with foil loosely cover top. Take foil off for the last 15 minutes to let top brown. Serve warm for breakfast or brunch!
