1 egg
1/2 c. sugar
1/3 c. sour cream
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
Dash nutmeg
Dash salt
1/2 c. golden raisins
Oil for deep frying
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. cinnamon

2. Chill dough 1 hour or more.

3. Roll out on lightly floured board to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut with a round cutter, 1-1 1/2 inches in diameter. Make an "X" slash on top of each with a sharp knife.

4. Fry in hot oil at 375 degrees for 2-3 minutes or until golden and cooked through the middle.

5. Mix sugar and cinnamon. Dust the hot cooked puffs with mixture. Or dust with plain powdered sugar. Makes 18-24 puffs.
