ONE CRUST RAISIN PIE 
1 c. sugar
2/3 c. raisins
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. cream
1/2 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. cornstarch
2 eggs, separated

Put the sugar, raisins and water in saucepan and bring to boil. Mix the cream, salt, cornstarch and beaten egg yolks, add to boiling mixture. Cook until thick. Pour into baked pie crust. Beat egg whites until stiff. Put on top and bake until brown.
