DIABETIC APPLE AND CINNAMON
SWEET ROLLS
 
2 med. apples, diced fine
4 slices white bread
Artificial sweetener to equal 3 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Preheat oven to 500 degrees. Combine cinnamon, apples, vanilla and sweetener. Roll bread flat with rolling pin. Spoon apple mixture onto center of bread. Roll bread as for jellyroll; fasten with toothpick. Bake for 10-15 minutes or until brown. One roll equals one bread and one fruit exchange. Each roll is 116 calories.
