SALTED PEANUT CAKE 
1/3 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sour milk
1 c. salted red skin peanuts, ground

Cream shortening and sugar; add eggs. Sift dry ingredients and add alternately with milk. Fold in nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Frost with brown sugar frosting.
