DANIEL'S EASY CHILI BACON
BURGERS

Add as much of the ingredients as you want to your burger. The beauty of this recipe is that you can change it to suit you!

1 (1 lb.) pkg. ground beef
1 (15 oz.) can chili (I use Wolf Brand Texas chili)
1 (1 lb.) pkg. thick sliced bacon
1 cup grated American cheese
1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
burger buns (your favorite)

Round the ground beef into patties, cook on a griddle at 400°F toll brown on both sides or fully cooked.

Heat chili in a pot. Cook bacon on griddle at 400°F. If you have a hand press, press bacon to keep it as long and wrinkle free as possible. Toast buns to prevent sogginess.

Now that everything is cooked here's how I like my chili burger.

First bottom bun, next burger patty, then 4 strips of bacon and then I add a good amount of American cheese. Next comes the chili, about 5 or six tablespoons of chili, next another good amount of Mozzarella cheese and finally the top bun. Enjoy!

Serves 4.
