WORLD'S BEST COOKIES 
1 c. white sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 c. butter, soft
1 c. oil
1 c. oats
1 c. crushed corn flakes
1/2 c. coconut
1/2 c. chopped nuts
3 1/2 c. plain flour
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. vanilla

Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add remaining ingredients. Mix well with mixer. Roll small ball of dough in hand (size of walnut). Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten each ball with fork dipped in water. Bake at 325 degrees for 10 minutes or adjust to your own oven temperature. Makes 6 dozen.
