NANO'S APRICOT SALAD 
1 (No. 2) can crushed pineapple
1 lg. or 2 sm. pkg. apricot or orange Jello
3/4 c. sugar
1 lg. jar apricot baby food (optional)
8 oz. cream cheese, softened and beaten
9 oz. Cool Whip

Heat first 3 ingredients, almost to boil. Take off burner; put in apricot baby food; beat in with mixer the beaten cream cheese. Set in refrigerator until mixture thickens, then stir in Cool Whip. Sprinkle with pecans or walnuts, if desired.
