1 c. raw sugar 1/2 c. salad oil 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla 4 tbsp. carob powder 1/2 c. unbleached white flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1/2 c. chopped walnuts Combine sugar, salad oil, eggs, vanilla and carob powder. Beat until light and smooth. Stir carefully to mix well. Then add flour and salt. Beat until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread in 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 30 minutes. While warm cut into squares. Cool before removing from pan. Makes 16. |
