SEAFOOD CHOWDER | |
1 onion, diced 2 lg. potatoes, peeled and diced 2 ribs celery, chopped 3 tbsp. butter 3 c. milk 1 can evaporated milk 1 can cream of potato soup 1 sm. can crabmeat 1 sm. can shrimp 1 tsp. thyme 1 tsp. parsley flakes Salt and pepper to taste Boil potatoes, onion and celery till tender. Drain. Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer for 2 hours stirring occasionally. Thicken with a mixture of cornstarch and water. Cook an additional 15 minutes. Serve in large bowls with crusty french bread. |
