COLD SLAW | |
1 med. head cabbage, shredded fine 1/2 sm. carrot, grated 1/2 c. sugar 1/2 c. vinegar 1 c. oil 1 tsp. dry mustard 1 tsp. celery salt 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper Mix together cabbage and carrot; leave in big mixing bowl. Spoon sugar over top of shredded cabbage and carrot; DO NOT MIX. LEAVE SUGAR ON TOP AS IS. In sauce pan mix remaining ingredients and just bring to boil. Then pour over sugar on top of cabbage. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours. Mix before serving. |
