2 heaping tbsp. cocoa
1 c. sugar
3 tbsp. flour
4 c. milk or water
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tbsp. butter

Mix cocoa, flour and sugar in a pot with a fork or whisk until well blended. Add all other ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring constantly, over medium heat. Continue cooking until the gravy is the desired thickness. Serve hot over homemade biscuits with lots of butter. Great for breakfast.
