SOUTH AFRICAN CHUTNEY 
1 lb. dried apricots
4 lg. onions
1 lb. seedless raisins
1/4 c. ground almonds
2 tsp. ginger
Cayenne to taste
1 clove garlic, minced
1 pt. vinegar
Salt & pepper

Soak apricots overnight. Boil until soft. Boil onions until tender, chop. Mince raisins. Mix all together and boil 30 minutes, stirring constantly. Yield 2 quarts.
