SQUASH RINGS 
1 acorn squash (approximately 1 lb.)
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 tbsp. brown sugar

Pierce whole squash several times. Microwave on high (100%) for 6 to 8 minutes. Cut squash into rings; remove seeds.

Sprinkle spices and brown sugar on top. Let stand 5 minutes. Serves 2.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
