3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Cream butter. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Blend in peanut butter, egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Mix well. Shape rounded teaspoonful of dough into balls. Roll in granulated sugar. Crisscross with fork. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes. (4 dozen.)
