CRANBERRY BANANA LOAF 
1 (16 oz.) can jellied cranberry sauce
1 med. apple, pared and grated
2 med. bananas, mashed
1/3 c. sifted confectioners' sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. chopped walnuts
1 c. whipping cream, whipped

Beat cranberry sauce until smooth; stir in grated apple. Pour into 11 x 7 x 1 1/2 inch pan. Fold bananas, sugar, vanilla, and half of the nuts into whipped cream. Spread over cranberry layer. Sprinkle with remaining nuts. Freeze until firm. Let stand at room temperature 15 minutes; cut in squares. Serves 8.
