RHUBARB CAKE | |
5 c. rhubarb, cut up 1 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin (dry) 1 c. sugar 3 c. miniature marshmallows 1 pkg. yellow or white cake mix Place ingredients in layers in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. 1ST LAYER: Rhubarb cut up on bottom of pan. 2ND LAYER: Sprinkle strawberry gelatin over rhubarb. 3RD LAYER: Sprinkle on sugar, 4TH LAYER: Cover with marshmallows. Prepare cake mix according to package directions and spoon over marshmallows. Bake at 350 degrees until cake is done, about 1 hour. Let cake sit in pan until gelatin sets. Turn over on foil and cool thoroughly. Serve with whip cream or ice cream. |
