GARDEN QUICHE 
1 c. chopped fresh or frozen (thawed) broccoli
1 c. shredded cheese (Swiss or Cheddar or mixed)
1/4 c. chopped onion
4 eggs
1 1/2 c. whipping cream
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. sugar
1 unbaked 9 inch pie crust

Oven 425 degrees. Sprinkle broccoli, cheese and onions in crust. Beat remaining ingredients by hand beater. Pour over broccoli mixture. Bake 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 300 degrees. Bake until knife inserted 1 inch from edge comes out clean, about 35 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting. Refrigerate any remaining quiche. (Cooked ham or cooked chicken may be added before baking, if desired (approximately 1 cup).)
