1/4 c. butter
1 (10 oz.) pkg. (about 40) reg. marshmallows or 4 c. miniature marshmallows
5 c. Kellogg's Cocoa Krispies cereal
Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until melted. Cook over low heat 3 minutes longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Add Cocoa Krispies. Stir until well coated. Press mixture evenly into buttered 13"x9"x2" pan, using buttered spatula. Cut into squares when cool. Makes 24 (2"x2") squares. Variation for Reese's Cup Squares: stir in 1/4 cup peanut butter into marshmallow mixture just before adding Cocoa Krispies.
