1/2 c. butter
2/3 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. baking powder or soda
Pinch salt
1/2 c. crushed pineapple, drained well

Drop 1/2 teaspoon butter on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Take from oven and place 1/2 of a large marshmallow cut in half on hot cookie immediately CUT SIDE DOWN. Ice with any soft white Baker's icing when cool. Sprinkle dry coconut flakes on top of icing and top with 1/2 maraschino cherry.
