DEVILED CHICKEN THIGHS 
1 lg. clove garlic
1 lg. slice ginger (or 1/2 tsp.)
3 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 c. dry sherry
1/8 tsp. hot pepper
1/2 c. water
9 chicken thighs

Put garlic through press. Mince fresh ginger. Combine garlic and ginger with soy sauce, sherry, hot pepper, and water and bring to a boil in a heavy pot. Add chicken; reduce and simmer in covered pot 10 minutes. Remove cover; turn chicken pieces over and raise heat so liquid boils. Boil chicken 10 or more minutes or until liquid evaporates.
