DATE-NUT BALLS 
3/4 c. sifted flour
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. chopped nuts
2 eggs, well beaten

Sift flour, sugar and salt in bowl; mix in dates and nuts. Stir in eggs, blending well. Spread out in greased and floured 13"x9" pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 15 minutes or until light brown on top. Remove to rack. Cut into 1/2" squares. Shape each square into a ball. Yield: 25 balls.
